The merry-g0-round directions were worth the price of the book. I was able to use the mechanics to make different types of round pop up cards. Most of the other projects were too specific for my needs, but was able to learn some good techniques.

Good ideas but seems a little difficult and intricate. I was hoping for something more basic.

I ordered this for my son. He has been making cards to send to family and friends. Everyone has been very impressed.

I remember buying these from the ice cream man and running home to stick them all over my skateboard. I had forgotten the exact brands, but remembered that they were quite creative. This book gives you that chance to see them in all their glory with great illustrations + its gives you a very interesting background on how they came to be. It may be weird, but this book is proudly taking space on my bookshelf - I enjoy how it transports me back to when I was 8, growing up in sunny southern cal. Also ~ its seems to be one the books that people grab when they are looking for something to flip though.

A vivid, colorful, beautifully published trip back to my youth. I swear I could smell the gum that used to be included with the stickers with every turn of the page. I bought my copy for two reasons: 1) for my own enjoyment; 2) to see if it would be an appropriate gift for a couple of my Summer Camp friends from years passed. A winning outcome on both fronts. I expect to be ordering a few more as presents.

Now I have that stupid song stuck in my head. But this little gem of a book brought back a lot of laughs long stifled since my childhood. We went nuts for Wacky Packages and we swapped and we traded and we bartered and all of that stuff. My neighbor had some real old vintage ones on her refrigerator that I would go crazy for. But it seems like they haven't included ALL of them. There has to be a sizable number of images that didn't make it into this book. Perhaps I'm mistaken and this book only offers up a few volumes in the series....I know there is stuff that I had that's missing from this book. But - anyway, if you grew up in the 60's and early 70's and you remember purchasing these things for 10 cents or so, this is a wonderful book that looks back on adolescence and hits the funny bone hard. It's short on words and descriptions, but that's fine. The laugh-out-loud images are enough. This book brought a huge smile to my face that didn't go away for a long time. It brought back a wave of great memories and for that, it's worth twice the price!!! I love it!

I found my first Wacky Sticker on the sidewalk walking home from school in 1973. It was the Schtick Razor sticker. After showing it to some older kids in elementary school I found out they had it too and much more. They gave me a few of their duplicates and I was hooked for about the next four years. It was always hard for me as a kid with little to no money to buy Wacky Packages and even harder to get my parents to buy me some packs but I did OK and was able to get most of them. The bulk of them being from the 2nd through 12th series. Over those four years of collecting I longed for Topps to just make a book of their Wacky art. It was this dream book that propmted me to make my own book with staples and heavy paper with cover and all. I stuck all my stickers by series on to the pages of my book. I never gave thought to collector value at the time, nobody ever thought of that back then. The end result all these years later is having a fraction of my Wacky Packs surviving and of those survivors they are only good for nostalgia. So it was a real kick to get both the first and second volumes of the Wacky Packages series. These books are a real gem and for me childhood dream come true. Although I suppose having all my original stickers still surviving in mint condition would be great I find these books much better than sifting through handfuls of baseball card size stickers. What I loved was the art and the silliness of it all and could care less about collector value. If you were a fan of the Wacky Packages series then both books will not disappoint. I love the wax pack paper wrapper for dust covers and the bonus stickers inside. A very nice touch and overall excellent quality for the money. Topps should think about authorizing more of these types of books like the 1960s Monsters cards for example.

I collected Wacky Packages in the 60's and 70's. I loved them they made me fall over with laughter. I stuck them to all my notebooks in school. Wonderful, nostalgic return to the a simpler time.

Having been an original consumer of Wacky Packages by Topps back in the early 1970s, this book is a terrific document on the artistry, humor and wit that went into their design, creation and marketing. Great insight from Art Spiegelman and beautiful, high-resolution renderings of the original "cards" (actually, stickers) themselves. Even the slip cover resembles the original paper that used to enclose vintage Wacky Packs. Loved the book!

Did you grow up with a school notebook that had Wacky Packages plastered all over it like I did? If so, you will have a great time remembering all those stickers through this book like I did. I highly recommend it!

I remember these from when I was younger and yes I collected them. This was a lot of fun to look through.

She is also the owner of Nohr Sports Risk Management, LLC, which provides education and consulting.Ms. Nohr is a certified USA Triathlon official and certified International Triathlon Union official. She currently serves as the Pacific regional coordinator for officials for USA Triathlon and the safety director for the Honolulu Triathlon. Ms. Nohr has served as the chairperson of an appellate panel for USA Triathlon and has taught sport risk management to USA Triathlon race directors. Ms. Nohr has served on the board of directors and is a former president of the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals and former state council director for the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW). She frequently teaches insurance law seminars and is a certified provider of continuing education credits for property and casualty insurance law and life and health insurance law. She is on the advisory board for the Risk Management Newsletter for Campus Recreation and is also the columnist of The Ball Is in Your Court for that publication.As an athlete, Ms. Nohr has participated in triathlon, swimming, running, and cycling competitions. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and traveling internationally. Ms. Nohr resides in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

Finally there is a sport risk management book that is practical and makes sense! This author has done a fabulous job condensing legal precedent into simplified terms. She also took her analysis one step further and created a risk management checklist for each of the sports she reviewed. The book even comes with a compact disc so that all the included risk management checklists can be printed from a computer. This book is a useful tool for universities, high schools and other athletic associations.Bravo to the author for boiling down the complexities of risk in sport into layman terminology. When will we see the next book by this author?

I am in graduate school and this is one of the required textbooks. Usually when done with a class, a text book is never used again. In the field i am in, this book will be helpful to myself and other teachers and coaches.
