Do not buy this book. I knew I was in trouble from the first few pages when I realized the content was loaded with major typos and grammatical errors. Additionally, the author gives no real or logical way of dealing with procrastination...instead he keeps merely chanting 'we will overcome this' 'we will overcome that'. I am pretty sure the 5 star reviews received on this book thus far are all from friends or associates of the author or perhaps even the author himself. Absolutely horrible book.
What I like about this book is that it tackles procrastination in two sections: why you're doing it, and what to do about it. The why part is fascinating, especially when you expand beyond your own procrastination and start applying it to other people in your life, especially co-workers. The "what to do about it" part is a little less mind-blowing, although still useful. Overall, great read.
Thus book contains some good information, but it dealt with addition and its connection to procrastination more than I anticipated. The flow of the book and the organization of the author's thoughts could have been better, but again there are some useful points and suggestions that some will find helpful.
Full of knowledge about the causes of procrastination since it is consider as a modern disease nowadays. You will be learning how to use positive moods and emotions to avoid procrastination. I find this book very effective tool to eliminate laziness and lack of focus to your work or objectives. Worth reading.
Excellent and easy read. The guide is super easy to follow and has many great tips for getting yourself going and getting things done. I would recommend it to anyone who has issues getting themselves motivated, even if it is just from time to time.
The book takes the reader through a wide variety of strategies, examples and explanations that will be helpful to anybody that procrastinates from an occasional basis to those that are heavily oppressed by this very difficult human problem.
In this manner book has helped me a considerable measure. It gets down to the nitty about hesitation and how to truly settle it!
Won’t let me finish the book unless I write a review. I thought this book was about procrastination but it took a turn and focused quite a bit on addiction. Sure they may go hand in hand, but I thought this was more about procrastination.
