Bill Warner holds a PhD in physics and math, NC State University, 1968. He has been a university professor, businessman, and applied physicist. The first step was realizing that the Islamic texts had been made deliberately difficult to read and comprehend. A program, the Trilogy Project (see below), was created to strip away the confusion in the texts. It became clear that Islam is not constructed on the same civilizational principles as the rest of the world. Simple statistical methods revealed that dualism and submission were the foundational principles of Islamic doctrine.

If you are reading this review it probably means you are a poor, unfortunate sole that was smart enough to get into to law school but not smart enough to get out. Now it is mere weeks before your Property final and you are freaking out about the Rule Against Perpetuities. Just buy this. Do it. It's worth wasting another 50 bucks on yet another book. This text was well-written and very easy to read. It doesn't drown you in technical language, so you can read it very quickly. And, many of the exercise were very helpful to cement your understanding. Definitely consider the exercises if you want to cover your bases, because many of the tricker applications of the concepts are not obvious from just reading the text.Note: I used this as a supplement only - I do not think it would replace studying actual cases, as it is too simplified.

If you are used to reading Glannon's E & E where he gives everything you need to know...and only that in a very organized matter, you will NOT like this book.

I actually own a wine bar and when this book came out I decided to purchase it to see if it might be helpful in inspiring new dishes at our bar. Not only have I enjoyed reading it, but the recipes are well-designed, easily duplicable, and delicious. We have adapted several for our wine bar with more to come. In addition the wine recommendations are spot on.

This is a nice book with great recipes for appetizers and first courses and also great cocktail recipes. It also has great info on European wine bars. I got this little gem at areally good price and in gift-giving condition, although I wouldn't dream of giving this little jewel away!

Tony is an excellant Chef if he is not the Top Italian Chef in the country he is a close 2nd to Robert Fedorkoat Ristorante Brissago in Lake Geneva. This is a must buy!!!

This is a beautiful book, I have not prepared anything from the recipes yet, but will do so after the holidays. I cook a lot and the recipes appear to be easy to follow.

It's a fun book that teaches you what wine best matches a meal like for instance pheasant pairs perfectly with dark red wine. I hope they publish more that also focuses on Asian and Mexican food pairings.
